About Our Organization
Founded in 2003 by liver transplant recipient and Olympic Medalist snowboarder Chris Klug, the Chris Klug Foundation (CKF) inspires and educates young adults to increase registration for organ and tissue donation. Through our programs we reach tens of thousands of young people each year, equipping them with facts about organ donation so they can make educated decisions.
Each day, thousands of people – people just like you – are waiting for a second chance at life. Our network of generous donors, volunteers and employees share our mission to educate and inspire others about the importance of organ and tissue donation registration, helping to eliminate the wait for those here at home and around the US.
